Hongbing Shang

Hongbing is a PhD student majoring in mechanical engineering in Xi’an Jiaotong University, China. He focuses on utilizing vision-based industrial damage detection algorithms based on interpretable unfolding networks to perform condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of large-scale systems.Hongbing joins the Chair of Structural Mechanics & Monitoring in September 2023 for 12 months as a visiting PhD student to work on anomaly detection in the context of structural health monitoring.
