Sasan Farhadi

Sasan, a Ph.D. student at the Polytechnic University of Turin (Polito) in the Department of Structural, Geotechnical, and Building Engineering, brings over three years of experience in Machine Learning and Deep Learning. His work focuses on developing AI models for event detection in structural monitoring, demonstrating a keen interest in applying AI in engineering.
Starting in March 2024, Sasan will collaborate with the Chair of Structural Mechanics & Monitoring for a six-month visiting period, during which he will delve into application of deep learning and reinforcement learning methods in the context of structural health monitoring.
